Rosemary A. Elick (Gnau) died peacefully April 29, 2015 just four days after celebrating her 90th birthday. She was a graduate of St. Bernard's School and Sacred Heart Academy. She worked at Firestone Bank and St. Matthew's Credit Union. Providing a loving home for husband Paul and her six children, she delighted in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, with 2 more great-grandchildren on the way. Previously a member of St. Peter's Church, later moving to Ellet where she was a member of St. Matthew's Church, its sanctuary society, bereavement committee, and volunteered for many fundraising events. She was an accomplished pianist and role model for all her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; daughter Kathy Coffman; mother and father, Louis and Mary Gnau; brothers, Paul and Cletus; sisters, Joan and Colette. She is survived by daughters, Patty (Jack) Davis, Paula (Bill) Canterbury, Reenie (Joe) Altier, Rosemary (Rick) Lester; son, Mike (Karen) Elick. She is loved and will be missed by all her family.
There are no calling hours, the family will celebrate her life at a later date.
