Rose M. Butcher

Rose M. Butcher (nee’ Coffman Wiebelt) born March 1, 1933 passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Butcher, her daughter Cindi Comes (nee' Wiebelt) and her grandson Eric Hammonds.

A lover of books, puzzles and quilting, Rose’s greatest joy was in time spent with her family. She is survived and greatly missed by her children Mary Blake and Amy Butcher of Akron, OH, Becky (Werner) Ziemann of Caldwell, OH and Rick Wiebelt of Sebastian, FL, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to the amazing nurses of Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their caring and kindness. In lieu of a funeral, Rose’s loved ones will gather together at a later date to celebrate her life and her legacy of love and commitment towards those she cherished most, her family.
