Ronald W. Runion
Ronald W. Runion was born on December 18, 1953 in Charleston, WV and went home to be with the Lord on Ocotber 11, 2014. Ronald graduated from Field High School, and immediately went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years. He was a Teamster and retired from Tramonte after 30 + years. Ronald was known by friends and family for his sense of humor, his love for the outdoors, and for the way he would give of what he had to help his neighbors.
Ron is survived by his sons, Jason (who he loved to fish with), and Josh (Christa) Runion; daughter, Shawna (Bobby, Jacob, and Brayden) Ruff; his fiancee and caregiver, Deborah Johnson and her children, Terra "Cupcake" and Terrance, who loved him dearly. He is also survived by his mother, Joanne Chionchio as well as siblings. In the last few weeks of Ronald's life, the news that his son Josh and wife Christa were expecting their first child had made him the proudest grandpa in the world. The excitement and love he expressed will never be forgotten, and his grandchild will know and celebrate him through stories and pictures. You will forever live in our hearts and we will remember the good times we had with you.
