Ronald Gene Wright Jr.
June 1,1988- December 12,2025
Ronald "Ronnie" Gene Wright Jr.,37 passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
Born June 1,1988, he was the cherished son of Ronald Gene Wright Sr. of Hartville, OH, and Ana B. Carr (Robert) of Akron, ОН.
Ronnie was the glue that held his family together. He is deeply loved by his siblings William Wright, Donald Boissonneault (Lindsey), Beth Carr, and Kimberly (Ray) Williams. He shared a uniquely close bond with his "cousins that he considered sisters" Jennifer Bryant, Ashley Hunt, Stephanie Bartlett, Gwen Riker, Jessica Riker and Haley Stalnaker. He is also survived by his Aunt Portia Miller along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Ronnie had the rare gift of making everyone around him feel seen, valued and loved.
Whether he was cracking jokes, striking up conversations with strangers, serenading someone with a song or gifting a hand painted piece of art. Ronnie brought joy everywhere he went. His talents were many, but music and painting were his passion that lit up his world. You could often hear him having late night jam sessions-sometimes with friends and sometimes solo, but always with his whole heart. Many also knew him as a remarkably gifted singer.
Ronnie graduated from Lake High School "Class of 2007" where he enjoyed wrestling.
Ronnie studied commercial music at Stark State College, Class of 2011, before facing challenges brought on by epilepsy. Though his health struggles affected his independence, they never dimmed his spirit, his creativity or the love he shared so freely with others.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held Saturday December 20,2025 at the home of his parents, Ana and Bob from 4pm-8pm. Close family and friends are invited; please contact the family directly for directions.
Ronnie will be remembered for his laughter, his music, his art and his unwavering love, a light that will continue to shine in all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
