Ronald W. Ikey

Ronald W. Ikey, 81, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on May 16, 2026. He was born on August 30, 1944 the son of the late Charles and Catherine Ikey of Wheeling, WV. Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. AirForce. He also was a proud member of the NRA. He retired after 33 years of dedicated service from Goodyear. Ron was a man of faith and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He found great joy in bingo, where his laughter and friendship brought smiles to many who had the pleasure of joining him. He enjoyed various crafts. A good poker player, Ron demonstrated not only his skill in the game but also his love for friendly competition and connection with those around him.

Above all, Ronald's greatest pride and happiness came from his family, particularly his grandchildren. He had a special way of making each of them feel treasured and loved and these bonds were the center of his life, and he embraced every opportunity to spend time with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Charles, Janice and Terry.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ann Ikey; sons Ronald (Vicky), Gene (Kelly), and Richard (Lisa); grandsons Spencer and Connor; brother Tom; Jan was more than an aid, she was family; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per Ron's wishes cremation will take place.
