Ronald L. Harnack

Ronald Lee Harnack, 89, of Canal Fulton, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026 at Camella Living in Copley, Ohio. He was born on April 19,1937 the son of the late Clarence and Mildred Harnack.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Barbara. He is also survived by his three children and their spouses: Jeffrey and Jane Harnack, Oscar and Paula {Harnack} Cardona and Donald Kathy Harnack; Six Grandchildren and their spouses: Dillon and Lauren {Harnack} Sellers, Nicholas and Jeanette Cardona, Troy Cardona, Aubrey Cardona, Trevor Harnack and Bryce Harnack; and two Great Grandchildren: Anthony Harnack and James Cardona; one Nephew: Kevin King; and one Niece: Jenny Bittner along with numerous other family members.

Ronald was born in Akron, Ohio. He worked his entire career (35 years) at Kemper Insurance Company in Long Grove, Illinois and retired as Claims Vice President at age 59. After his retirement, Ronald and Barbara moved back to the Akron area where they socialized with their childhood and high school friends. Ronald loved hunting and fishing, searching for antiques and playing cards with his family and friends.

Ronald was loyal and faithful the Lord and his Church at Hope Lutheran Church in Akron, Ohio.

He was kind and thoughtful to everyone he met. Ronald will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

At the family's request, there will be no service at this time. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
