Ronald H. Heavner

Ronald H. Heavner, "Ron", age 76 of Canton, Ohio, died on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Aultman's Compassionate Care Center.
He was born on September 20, 1939 in Akron, the son of the late Clarence and Lena Coburn Heavner.
Ron recently accomplished a life long goal by graduating from Stark State College where he earned an Associate of Technical Studies in Engineering. He loved to hunt, fish, and have woodworking projects to do
Survivors include his five sons, David (Betty), Daniel, Dean (Debra), Darren (Tami), and Dale (Tammie) Heavner; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Norma Fisher.
Other than his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Heavner; and his brother, Robert Heavner.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Gary Smith will celebrate Ronald's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM.
