Glenn Colbetzor, 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 14, 2018, in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Glenn was born October 14, 1961, in Akron, OH, to Gloria (May) Sherman. Glenn attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Akron East High School, and attended Fortis College and The Ohio State University. Well-loved for his music and an active member of the church, he leaves behind a substantial group of family and friends, and his family thanks them for their support.
Preceded in death by his father, Ronald Colbetzor. He is survived by his children, Ronald, Christopher, Samantha, and Sarah Colbetzor; parents, Gloria & Bill Sherman; brothers, Michael, Bryan, Daniel, Timothy, and Robert; sisters, Beverly, Cyndi, and Melissa.
A Celebration of Life will be held 5-8 pm Monday, December 17th at Kenmore Community Church of the Nazarene, 2025 12th Street SW in Akron. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to cancer research.
