Ron entered into eternal slumber February 1st 2017.
A 40 year resident of Atwater Ohio; a resident of Portage County for nearly his whole life. He was born on August 18th 1944 to Corwin and Ruth Brock.
Ron was a local truck driver in Akron and the surrounding area for 40 years. He was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather as well as brother,uncle and friend. Ron was always quick with humor and revered his family above all else. He also loved horses, bowling, boating and being a truck driver.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his sister; Flossie Moon of Canton OH; brother, Larry Brock of Buckhannon WV; grandson, Jordan Brock of Atwater OH.
He is survived by his siblings, Donna Freas of Deerfield Beach FL., Gerald Brock of Canton OH., Raymond Brock of Pensacola FL.; his children Ronald (Debbie) Brock Jr. of Ill., Robert Brock of Kent OH., Jason (Viki) Brock of Atwater, OH., Curtis (Kari) Brock of Atwater OH., and Brandon Sayre of Akron OH; grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Samantha, Mikayla, Jess, Anna, Christopher, Javid, Abigail, Caulin, Chloe, Jase, and Cayden; great grandchildren - McKenzie and Kolten; Special mention of his self proclaimed daughter, Christine Ahern of Atwater OH and her children, Crystal (Dominic, Savanah, Elijah) of Atwater and Jeromi of Kent OH.
