Ron P. Brainard 67, passed away on November 18, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Akron, and was a current resident of Rootstown, OH. Ron graduated from Tallmadge High School. He was an Ohio State Buckeye fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. He retired from Corporate Consulting Service in Akron.
Ron is survived by his wife, Cheryl; son, Gary (Tammy) Brainard; daughter, Wendy Harvey; grandchildren, Tabitha, Amber, Dalton, Cole, Kyle and Mason; step-sons, William and Daniel; and many good friends. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11am at Chestnut Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
