Rom A. Caniglia, 79, of Stow OH, died May 15, 2026, with his family by his side.
He was born November 24, 1946, in Akron, OH. Rom attended St. Anthony of Padua Parochial Grade School where he made many lifetime friends. After attending North High School, he began a long and successful 32-year profession working for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron.

He loved traveling the continental United States, visiting Tahiti, Hawaii, Italy and the Caribbean. Many special memories were captured with family and friends at the Outer Banks and Myrtle Beach. He found pleasure in holding his loving fur babies. Rom savored eating at many restaurants but thoroughly loved making his own wedding soup and lasagna.
Rom was preceded in death by his father, Kelly J. Caniglia and mother, Helen M. Caniglia.
He is survived by his wife and partner of 34 years, Jenae Caniglia of Stow; son. Rom Michael (Gina) Caniglia; daughter, Kelly Lyn (Robert) Foguth; grandchildren, Michael and Nickolas Caniglia, Austin (Mary), Nathanial, Ryan (Madelyn) and Autumn (fiancé, Josh Junko) Foguth; sister, Deborah (Joe) Renaud of Newark; cousins, Gary (Linda) Anello of Gahanna; mother in-law Grace Metzler; sister in-laws, Pamela (John) Yost-Sobinovsky, Leanne (Scott) Beavers; and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
