Roger L. Salisbury, 59, passed away July 23, 2011. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, and worked for Chrysler for 28 years. Roger was a member of the Eagles, VFW, DAV and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister. Roger is survived by his wife, 2 brothers, 1 sister, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 28, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where a service will be held Friday, July 29, at 12 noon. Interment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
