Roger K. Bauer

Roger K. Bauer, age 65 of Akron, Ohio, died on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 3:55 PM at Hospice Care Center in Copley.
He was born in Akron, the son of the late Louis Edward and Kathy (nee Holcomb) Bauer.
Roger owned and operated CWs Tavern in Akron. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends and fixing up hot-rods. He had many businesses including a hot-rod shop, and many antique shops. He also did a lot of gold mining, living in the mountains and at one point, even living in a ghost town, Forest, California.
Survivors include his two daughters, Melissa A. Bauer and Christyna Hunter; his grandchildren, Bethany Bowman, Joseph Teibel, III, and Taylor Mayberry; and his brother, Robert "Bob" Bauer.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 6:00 PM, where family and friends may gather from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305.
