Roger A. Jones
September 3, 1953 — March 23, 2015
Roger A. Jones, 61, took his final ride with the Lord on March 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnes and Ruth Jones and brother-in-law, Loren Swensen.
Roger is survived by his brother, Erwin Jones; sisters, Brenda (Doug) Taylor, Bev Swensen and Sue Blair; daughters, Tonya and Laura Jones; granddaughters, Lacy, Miranda, and Autumn and many nieces and nephews.
He had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Rousch Racing, NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed being a Truck Driver for Great Lakes Trucking CO.
Roger and family want to thank his long time friends, Earl and Sharon Kelvington and his favorite cousin Kevin Davis for being there during his rough ride.
The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Stow Glenn Assisted Living and Nursing Home for all of their care given to Roger and his family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 4:00-6:00 p.m at Newcomer Funeral Home Akron, 131 N. Canton Rd with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Kevin Davis speaking.
