Robert Vernon

Robert D. Vernon, 82, passed away on September 27, 2005. Robert was a WWII veteran serving with the US Army; he was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Ellet Keenagers; Robert retired from Mohawk Rubber Co. and was a lifetime member of VFW Post #8975. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Violet. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Evalee; daughter Diane (Keith) Fraser; son Wayne (Karen); sister Gloria Stancich; grandchildren Ron (Jennifer) Fraser, David Fraser, Kristine (Tony) Bisesi, Tricia and Robert Vernon; great-grandchildren Derek and Erin Fraser, and Kyle and Justin Bisesi; sisters-in-law Elsie DeLong and Virginia Jones; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at a private family dinner. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse or a charity of one's choice.
