Listen to Obituary
Robert John Van Antwerp, 64, of Granger Township, Ohio, passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday September 1st, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob will be remembered by his zest for life, larger than life presence, and benevolence towards his community, friends, and loved ones. He loved a good laugh and spending time with family and friends. Bob loved to work, and loved his work, building lifelong relationships along the way – as he effortlessly did with all the activities and groups he took part in: the Boy Scouts of America, local bike clubs in Stark County, Ohio, Nebraska, and Iowa, and local woodturners guilds. He loved the outdoors – especially camping, fishing and cycling – as well as photography, home improvement projects, and woodturning.

Bob is preceded in death by his father, John Van Antwerp; sisters Susan Schoenstein and Sarah Doncaster.

He is survived by his loving wife Ursula Van Antwerp; daughters, Jennifer Kinnen (Kelly) and Emily Van Antwerp; son, John Van Antwerp (Allie Moore); mother, Milora (Beachy) Van Antwerp; sister, Elizabeth Brillhart; sister-in-law Heidi Williams; brothers-in-law Toby Spribille (Viktoria Wagner) and Richard Doncaster; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 Portage Trail, Ext W, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223 on Saturday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. The dress attire is casual.
