Robert (Harpo) Taylor died in his home in Akron on November 29, 2017 at the age of 78.
He is survived by son Craig (Becky) grandchildren Janessa and Jayden, son Robert, Sister Betty Kittenger, Sister Linda Zielinski, Sister-in-Law Kathy Taylor, Sister-in-Law Diane Taylor and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by Father Frank Taylor, Mother Caroline Taylor, Brother Skeeter Taylor and Brother Stephen Taylor.
Robert was born on October 21, 1939 in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Springfield High School and served his country in the Unites States Air Force. "Uncle Bob" will be remembered for his infectious laugh and the kind nature he showed toward all he knew and met in his lifetime.
Special thanks to nephew Chris Taylor for all his loving care and nurturing.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 5th, Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a service and burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
