Robert John Lamm

Robert John Lamm, age 96, of Brimfield, passed away June 13, 2025. Born on February 18, 1929, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Robert lived a life dedicated to his family, marked by his unwavering work ethic and warmth. Throughout his career, Robert was a skilled excavator and heavy equipment operator, contributing to the first nine holes of golf at Sunny Hills Golf Course in Brimfield. Robert was known for his positive personality. He was described as a national treasure, whose passion for life was evident in everything he did. A proud U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran, Robert served aboard the USS Sperry 697, a chapter of his life that filled him with great pride.

Family was at the heart of Robert’s existence. He shared a beautiful 70-year partnership with his loving wife, Joan Lamm. Together, they created a nurturing home for their daughters, Marie Miracle and Jeannie (Roger) Yount. Robert also took immense joy in being a grandparent, relishing in golf cart rides and cherished moments with his grandchildren, Tiffany (fiancé Jack) Miracle, Evelyn Miracle, Joey, and Will Yount.

His fondness for gardening and spending time on the trails of his property reflected his appreciation for nature and tranquility. Robert’s legacy is deeply rooted in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

His parents, John and Florence Lamm, predeceased him.

A visitation will be held on June 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church: St. John Neumann Parish, located at 3487 Old Forge Rd, Rootstown, OH 44272.
