Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Robert L. Lantz, Sr., 88 years old, passed away on April 1, 2014.
Dad lived a full life. Born May 6, 1925, to the late Harold and Pearl Lantz, in Philippi, WV. He moved to Akron at a young age and worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 42 years. He joined the Masons in 1956. Bob was in the Navy serving on the Destroyer ship. While in the Navy, he met the love of his life, Margie, in California and they married and had two sons, Bobby and Tommy. Bob was the third child of his parents.
Preceded in death by his wife, Margie; son, Bobby; and siblings, Hugh, Jack, R.L. "Tootie", and Betty.
Survivors include his son, Tommy (Fay); grandchildren, Angel Stormer and Kody Lantz; great-grandchildren, Taylor Stormer, Benjamin and Lauryn Lantz; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
