Robert "Bob" Koch passed away on September 26, 2025 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

He and his wife, Sandra, were married 62 years raising two sons together, David (Kynsey) and James Koch.

Bob was born in Celina, Ohio where he grew up with his brothers, George (Beverly), Thomas (Connie) and William (Sue) Koch.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, sons, brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Bob joined the United States Army and was stationed in Germany before returning to Akron after his honorable discharge. Bob was a brick mason, worked in home renewal in City Planning and eventually, real estate areas. He was a Cub Scout leader, Ronald McDonald House as well as City Hospital volunteer. Bob loved golf, taking river cruises and walking the Carolina beaches with his sweetheart.

At Bob's request, there will be no calling hours or formal funeral services. A Memorial Service in Bob's memory will be held at a later date.
