Robert J. Clupper, Sr. 78 of Randolph, passed away February 27, 2014, surrounded by his family.
He was born on November 13, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Edward and Mary Jane Clupper. He retired from Ironworkers Local 17 after 30 years. He was inducted into the Golden Gloves Hall of Fame in 2010.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Debra Weaver, Robert (Victoria) Clupper, Dianna Van Dyne, Shawna (Keith) Moriarty, Kimberly Clupper, Edward Clupper, Matt (Denise) Clupper, William Villers, Jr.; seventeen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many friends including a special friend and Son in-law Daniel Weaver.
The family would like to thank Cynthia Walker and Dontell Higgins for all the care given to Robert. Would also like to thank Longmeadow care center for all their care and support.
Visitation will be Monday, March 3 from 5-7 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Robert M. Burner officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
