Robert Glenn Wright
Robert Glenn Wright, 94, of Suffield, passed away on November 13, 2015. He was born on September 26, 1921 in Martha, Tennessee to the late Fred and Margaret Wright. Glenn earned a Purple Heart during his service in the U.S. Army during World War II. He will always be remembered as an honorable and humble man.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and an infant son. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Jeanne; children, Deborah Wright and Ronald (Millie) Wright; grandchildren, Adam (Melanie), Jeremy, and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Amber, and Gabriella; much beloved nieces and nephews in Tennessee and Florida. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hospice of VNS for all the care given to Glenn.
Glenn will be privately laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
