Robert E. Bennington II

Robert “Bob” Edward Bennington II, 83, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on July 28, 2026.

He was born on August 9, 1942 to Robert and Doris (Swanson) Bennington in Akron, OH.

Bob loved golfing with friends and spending time and vacationing with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his sons/spouses, Bob (Linda-deceased) Bennington, Kevin (Renee) Bennington and Scott (Sherry) Bennington. Grandchildren, Lindsey Jackson and Dylan (Kevin), Leah (Scott), and Rubilyn (Bob) great grandchildren Lilian Jackson, Ailah Jackson (Lindsey & Austin Jackson).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Doris Bennington; and his wife of 55 years, Tammy Bennington.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will follow immediately at 11:00 am, Jim Luonuansuu will officiate.
