Rita Rosier

Rita Joy Rosier of Barberton passed away early Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. I think I speak for all that have met her it was a rare occasion when you didn't see Joy smiling or laughing at any given time and I'm positive that's how she would want to be remembered. Always positive, joyous, and willing to do without to help another. If there is any light that can come from this devastating situation is that she can now go home to her sweet daughter Amy again.


She leaves behind her "honey" Donnie Horton; sons Ron (Carrie) Rosier, Chris (Kelly) Horton; daughter Donna Horton; five sisters, Vickie (Roy) Steele, Jean (Kenneth) Horonetz, Gloria (David) Sommers, Jackie Braden, Star Braden; and brother William (Mary) Braden, grandchildren (little angels), Zach and Regan Rosier, and Shannon and Summer Moore, great grandchildren Faith and Christian Paisley, Jack Horton. She also has a host of nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2569 Romig Rd. Akron, OH 44305, on Monday Sept. 28th from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m followed by a lunch gathering at Wolf Creek Winery from 1 p.m to 4 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Greenlawn Memorial Park in Joy's name. We ask that you spend some quality time with your loved ones in remembrance of Joy, because you never know what tomorrow will bring. We love you mom and you will forever be in our hearts.
