Rita C. Woodling (nee Spalding)
There was a celebration in Heaven on September 28, 2012 when our Precious Beloved Mother Rita was welcomed into the divine embrace of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rita was born in Akron on December 14, 1928.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Woodling; parents, Hattie May and Joseph E. Spalding; brothers, Jim Spalding and Bill Spalding; sisters, Orene Stanley and Joyce Cramer; and daughters, Sharon Little and Linda Woodling.
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Rey, Lucinda "Cindy" (Stephen) Jones; sons, Lloyd Lytle, Wayne Lytle, and Kerry Woodling; sister, Ernie Eberhardt; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke in North Canton and Crossroads Hospice for all the special loving care given to our dear mother.
Visitation will be Monday October 1 from 4-6 followed by a 6:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Keith Emhoff officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
