Rita "Bonnie" Alderman, 85, of Akron, passed away September 4, 2012. She was born in Barberton on December 27, 1926 to the late Murl and Josephine Mitchell . Rita was known as the "Bingo Queen" at the nursing home. She loved bingo and her cats "Seba" and "Midnight".
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; son, Larry Todd; brothers, James, Larry and Tom Mitchell; sister, Francis Campbell. Bonnie is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, September 9, from 4-5 PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow at 5 PM with Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Interment at Bays Cemetery in Clover, WV on Monday, September 10 at 12 PM.
