Richard shared Joyce’s love for animals, children, and those in need. Richard cared for his stray cat, Wild Thing. As promised, Richard made sure no squirrel, duck, chipmunk, or bird went hungry.
Although Richard was proud of his immaculate home, meticulously landscaped yard, and beautiful flower gardens, he never forgot his humble country beginnings.

At Richard’s request, cremation has taken place. Richard is going home and will be reunited with Joyce. At a date to be determined, burial and prayer service will take place at Minnora Cemetery, Minnora, West Virginia.
