Richard Wayne Lancaster
Richard (Shamu) Lancaster age 67, of Akron, went home to be with our Lord and Savior October 9,2015. He was born June 27,1948 in Canton, the son of George and Nagene Lancaster and was a graduate of Springfield High.Richard proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed his music and fishing.
He is survived by his loving companion and fiance',Nancy Somosko; mother, Nagene;father, George; brother, Jerry (Linda); sister, Brenda (Jeff); daughter, Dawn , (Mac); son, Jason(Renee);grandchildren, Naomi, Wyatt ;niece, Kristy (Jim); great nieces Bethany, Mackenzie and many friends and family.
Visitation will be from 3p.m. to 6.p.m on Wednesday,October 14,2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. service to follow. Interment will be held on Thursday October 15, 2015 at 12:30 p.m,Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, Rittman, OH,44270.
