Richard H. Haralson

Richard H. 'Dick' Haralson, 88, of Tallmadge, passed away October 2, 2014. He was born in Akron, Ohio on September 17, 1926 to the late Frank and Toma Haralson. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from Local 7 as a bricklayer. Richard was a loving father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Gwen and son, Paul. He will be dearly missed by his Son, Gary (Crystal) Haralson, Daughter, Pam (Scott) Spencer, Daughter, Lisa (Terry) Beck, Daughter-in-law, Nancy Haralson, 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Tom Haralson and many Nieces and Nephews.

Family and friends may call on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Brian Nutt officiating. Interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.
