Richard R. "Rick" Gaspar

Richard R. "Rick" Gaspar, 72, passed away peacefully October 2, 2025 with family by his side. Born in Filbert, PA to Michael Sr. and Catherine (Pochotko) Gaspar, he resided in the Akron, OH area most of his adult life. Rick enjoyed cars, animals and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Gaspar Jr., Raymond Gaspar. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Sandra Castilow; nephew, Jeremiah (Gina) Gaspar; nieces, Angela (Perry) Keeling, Jamie Castilow; great nephews, Devan, Dylan, Dakota, Logan; great niece, Kayla; many friends.

To my dear friends and family members..."Please let me thank each and every one of you for helping me go through these trying times in the last couple of years with my health issues". "God bless all".

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, October 13, 2025 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Rick's name to the charity of their choice.
