Richard "Dick" Emmitte Page
Richard "Dick" Emmitte Page passed away December 21, 2013, unexpectedly at St. Thomas Hospital. He had been a lifetime resident of this community. He was born May 22, 1947, a graduate of Hower Vocational High School, veteran of the USMC, and currently employed with Mike Pruitt's Honda. He devoted his career to the car sales business and making fair sales to all his customers. He was a true giver, honest, and loyal man, father, and Grandpa. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Tari Page; brothers, John, David, and Tom (Mary) Page; son, Richard (Karen) Page; daughters, DeAnn (John) Cedarman, Jennifer (Robert) McGowan, and Gina Morlan; and eight grandchildren. Please join us to celebrate Dick's life on Friday, January 3 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305 where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, http://www.marchforbabies.org/McGowanMiracles.
