Richard "Dick" Cain

Richard "Dick" Cain, 82, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026 with family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Theron and Julia (Polanski) Cain, he was a lifelong Akron area resident. Dick was a member of the Mogadore Moose Lodge. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, camping, deer hunting, watching all Cleveland sports teams and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Cain; brother, Roger Cain. He will be sadly missed by his children, Tina Gibson, Tonya (Charles) Pierce, Richard Cain Jr; grandchildren, Bradley, Sara, Mary, Tovah; great grandchildren, Anthony, Lex, Logan, Bentley, Isaac, Isabella, Israel; siblings, Robert Cain, Linda Wehrlin, Terry Cain; many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will have a celebration of Dick's life at a later date.
