Richard Brown

Richard L. Brown, 73, of Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with his Saviour on Friday, November 9, 2012 at his home. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints-Psalm 116:15. Born on July 7, 1939 in Rochester Mills, PA to the late Louise (nee Work) and Richard C. Brown.

He gathered with the Christians at Myrtle Street Meeting for many years. He was a barber for 46 years, Owner of Brown's Westgate Barber Shop for 20 years, worked at Terex, GM for over 8 years. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Susan; daughter, Michele (fiancé, Larry Price) Arbaugh; sons, Gregory (Ann), Rusty, Timothy (fiancé, Danielle Weitzel), and Steven (fiance, Kimberly McKee) Brown; son-in-law, Doug Arbaugh; sisters, Jackie Copenhauer of Punxsutawney, PA and Sherry Ward, Ph.D. of Newmarket, MD; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. Memorial contributions may be made to Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St, PO Box 547, Akron, OH 44309.
