Richard Auronto Johnson, age 83 of Akron joined his wife Barbara in the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., when the funeral service will begin with Bishop Kenneth and Minister Leta Paramore officiating.
