Reta M. Bisesi

October 2, 1937 — January 13, 2015

Reta M. Bisesi, 77, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2015 in her home surrounded by family.

She was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on October 2, 1937, to the late Paul and Elvada Chesser. She graduated from East High School in Akron, OH in 1956 and has resided in Akron since.

She worked as a secretary for Goodyear and AFSCME for several years before she devoted the rest of her life to her one true love and beloved husband of 57 years, her beloved children and grandchildren. She had a great love for sewing and crafting where she touched many people's lives with her seamstress skills and one-of-a-kind creations. She was an avid sports fan of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians. She was a CYO cheerleading coach for many years. She loved animals, shopping, music, taking walks, gardening, baking, watching movies, reading the Sunday funnies and doing crossword puzzles. She had a silly sense of humor that always made us laugh. She was a beautiful soul that has left us a trail of beautiful memories.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Bisesi; son, Mark (Laura) Bisesi; daughters, Denise (John) Myers, and Brenda Bisesi; sister, Betty Whitesel; brother, Paul (Marie) Chesser. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and life-long friends.

"We think of you with love today but that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday and days before that too.
We think of you in silence as we often speak your name.
We have our cherished memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake with which we'll never part.
God has you in His loving arms. We have you in our hearts."

We love you,
Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend.
