Raymond Paul Crabtree
Raymond Paul Crabtree, 47, fell asleep in death April 20, 2015 with family and friends at his side after a long illness. Ray was born in Akron, Ohio October 26, 1967. He attended Ellet schools and Green High School. Ray was a hard worker who took pride in his work as a professional commercial painter. His final employment was with GoJo Industries. He had a generous heart and cared about his family although he could have a prickly exterior.
He is survived by parents, Richard and Karen Crabtree; brother, Matthew (Jamasina) Crabtree and Michael Crabtree; sister, Julie (David) Gough; children, Anthony and Cameron Crabtree of Mantua, and Jeremy Kostielney; grandchildren, Jazmine, Noah, and Levi of Davenport, Iowa. Also leaves nieces and nephews, Heather Mills, Chloe Lewis, Davey Gough, Gabriella Mattson, Devon Stewart and Baby Joe Stewart. He leaves behind a whole family of loving and caring aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service will be held on Friday April 24, 2015 at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
