Raymond Frank Berendzen "Papa Ray"
Raymond Frank Berendzen, 84, of Randolph Twp., passed away January 14, 2015. He was one of five children, born to the late Charles and Anna Berendzen on April 13, 1930 in Mary's Home, Missouri. Papa Ray worked for Modern Tool and Die in Valley City, Ohio for over 35 years. He was an avid traveler and particularly loved going to Amish Country. Papa Ray could often be found listening to country music on the radio and watching baseball games. He loved his stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and his many close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia. Papa Ray will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
