Raymond Baker

Raymond Baker, born May 21, 1927, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2016, at 88 years of age. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Ray was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Irene; his twins, Charlie Baker and Charlene Snyder; and grandson-in-law, Johnny Setser. Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn (Dennis) Dostal; his granddaughters, Irene Joseph, Tina Setser, Diane (David) Wagner, Billie Jo (Joseph) Moore; great-grandchildren, Jodi, Ronald, Cody, Dylan, Brandon, Nicole, Candace, Logan, Levi; one great-great-granddaughter, Rylee; and other family and friends.

Family will welcome guests on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 pm with visitation from 12-1. Rev. Robert Stephens officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
