Ray Neupert
November 20, 1943 - July 15, 2025
Raymond Dawson Neupert, aged 81, of Vienna, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. He will be remembered for his composed demeanor, intellectual curiosity, and enduring commitment to those he held dear.
Born on November 20, 1943, Ray dedicated his professional life to the field of manufacturing engineering, serving with distinction at West Virginia University. His work was defined by precision and accuracy.
Beyond his career, Ray was a passionate coin collector, finding joy in the stories each piece held and the history they represented. His collection reflected his meticulous nature and deep appreciation for craftsmanship. He also had a lifelong love of baseball and football-sports that brought him excitement and his passion for statistics.
Ray was the beloved husband of the late Sharon Neupert, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. He frequently reminisced about their dog, Carver, and the deep comfort they found in each other’s presence. We take solace in the thought that Raymond is now reunited with Sharon and Carver.
He is survived by his son, Richmond Neupert, and daughter-in-law, Karen Neupert. As a grandfather to Cole, Max, and Elliott Neupert, Raymond took pride in their growth and enjoyed their many accomplishments.
