Ray Lynn Teets, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. He was born on October 29, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the late Ray and Mary Teets. Ray served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a radio and automotive mechanic. He was a kind-hearted and trusting man who always held a positive outlook.
Ray is survived by his daughter Marcie (Kurt) Strabley, "adopted" children; Wendell "Buddy" Arnett and Nick Arnett, brothers; James Teets, Vernon (Mimi) Teets and Wayne Teets, 4 grandchildren; James, Cyric, David and Autumn and many other relatives.
Friends and family may call 5-8 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
