Randi Bailey-Starcher 33, went into the Lord's arms on July 9, 2015. She was born in Barberton, OH to parents Bruce and Kathy Bailey. Randi was a 2000 Springfield High School graduate and despite her disability she participated in the marching band with her service dog Dakota. She was a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient and earned the Bronze, Silver and Gold United States Congressional Awards. She was a big Steelers fan. Randi was so excited about going to see her favorite singer Richard Marx in concert with her mom and her daughter Alyssa. Randi volunteered many years at Akron Children's Hospital, Good Neighbors, the Springfield Senior Center, and with the Special Ministry Youth Group at High Street Christian Church. Her proudest moment was when she gave birth to her daughter Alyssa (her special miracle).

She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Judy Bailey and Poldina Staggers; and uncle, Michael Kerlik. Randi is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Graham; husband, Mark Starcher; parents; Bruce and Kathy Bailey; grandfathers, Bobby Bailey and Jessie (Tom) Staggers; special aunts, Karen Kerlik and Dolores Kensinger; special cousins, Lynne Srba, Melissa and Brittany Kerlik; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Randi's Life will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2015 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for a college fund for Alyssa. Please celebrate Randi's life by wearing bright casual clothes.
