Ramona Laura "Monie" Lomax, 56, of Akron, Ohio passed away on October 5, 2018 from a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Ramona was born and raised in Akron, Ohio on April 24,1962 a twin. She graduated from Buchtel High School in 1980 and from Akron Institute with a Medical Coding and Billing Degree. She had worked as a Pharmacy Technician for over 30 years. Ramona enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping her grandson with his homework.
She is survived by her daughter, Monique Lomax; grandson, Mekhi Lomax; sisters, Francine (David) Reynolds, Charisse Lomax, Maria Harrison; special cousin, Marchetta (Tina) Williamson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was welcomed with open arms into Heaven by her parents, James and Geraldine Lomax.
In lieu of flowers please pay it forward to a family who is supporting a family member with a chronic illness. Condolences can be sent to 368 Stratford Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Please contact the family for details.
