Ralph E. Shelton, Sr.

Ralph E. Shelton, Sr., 80, of Akron, passed away September 5, 2014. He was born in Jonesboro, Tennessee on January 22, 1934 to the late Ralph and Cora Shelton. Ralph loved taking day trips, driving his mustang along with his dog pal, Jaxon. He cherished his time with his family and his coffee buddies at McDonald's. His laughter will be missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his Stepmother, Ann Shelton. He will be dearly missed by Children; Jody Decker, Ralph (Sherry) Shelton, Jr., Tammy R. (fiance Darrell) Mallory, Todd (Bonnie Weaver) Shelton, Jeff Shelton, Grandchildren; Jamie (Mike) Ellis, Shawn Decker, Bryan Shelton, Stacey Shelton, Tyler Mallory, Lauren Mallory, Chad Mallory and Kameron Shelton, Great-Grandchildren; Tayden and Koen Ellis, Brother, Robert Shelton, Former Wife and Good Friend, Micki Smith, along with many other relatives and friends.

Family and friends may call 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
