Phyllis V. Reese

Phyllis Reese, 88, passed away April 30, 2014 at her home in Akron. She was born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1925 to the late Millard and Anna Griffith. Phyllis was a longtime friend of Dr. Bob for over 40 years and, together, they helped many individuals along their paths.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Reese, sister Patty Musser, and brother Millard Griffith, Jr. She is survived by Daughters; Sue Tobias, Joyce Reese-Cooper, and Pamela (Vincent) Rosnack, sisters; Donna (Delbert) Harbst, Nancy Held, and Sue (Fred) Saxton, grandchildren; Chris, Brandon, Daniel, and Brianna, great grandchildren; Dade, Alexis, Ian, Allison, Isabella, and Sara, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305 where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, following visitation. Final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, C/O Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave, Akron, OH 44307-2463.
