Phyllis R. Joel

Phyllis R Joel, 85, of Akron, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Phyllis was born in, Somerset, PA on September 23, 1929 to the late Grant and Annie Manges. Phyllis retired from Parassons. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, George; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by daughter, Debbie Flynt; son, Harold (Vivian) Joel; grandchildren, Rich (Jennifer) and Randy Flynt, Stephani (Ted) Stockton; great grandchildren, Richie, Alex, Hannah, Mila Flynt and Daxton, Tommy Stockton; brother, William (Ann) Manges and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on, Friday, April 10, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Additional calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10:00am to 11:00am with funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
