Paula Kay Lange, 70, of Akron, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 13, 2026. Paula was born in Cuyahoga Falls on November 20, 1955 to the late Vivan Eagle and Glendora Eagle Blankenship.

At the age of seven, she met her older brother's friend, Dale Lange. They grew up together and fell in love along the way. They married in 1973, one year before Paula graduated from Woodbridge High School. They were committed to each other and the family they built together for 52 years.

Paula and Dale raised their sons in Akron. In later years, she managed two Country Kitchen restaurants. After retirement, Paula and Dale loved taking their camper to Jellystone in Hartville and Meadow Lake in Wooster, where they made lifelong friends.

Paula's greatest joy was being Grandma to her five grandchildren. She loved babysitting and attending all their sporting events and school activities. She was their greatest cheerleader and fiercest supporter.

Paula's family will always remember her stubborn streak and strong personality. She was a fighter at heart and never gave up no matter what life threw at her. She leaves a lasting legacy and she is deeply loved and admired by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tim Eagle, Oscar Eagle, and Nanette Aderholdt, and sister-in-law, Diane Eagle.

Paula is survived by her loving husband, Dale Lange; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Beth Lange and Kyle and Carly Lange; brother, Mike Eagle; grandchildren, Tyler, Kolbie, Owen, Ava, and Camden; brother-in-law, Lee Lange; sister-in-law, Vickie Ballis; and other special relatives and friends, including Bill and Linda Harvey.

Paula's family will celebrate her life privately.
