Paul M. Short, 95, went to be with the Lord and his wife on June 28, 2014.
Paul retired from Goodyear and worked as a bus driver for Tallmadge City Schools.
Preceded in death by wife, Alice Short. Survivors include sister, Donna Dixon; children, Nancy Detamore, Gloria (Jim) Cole, Terry (YoungMei Ye) Short, Diane Brainard, Allison Short, and Craig (Anne) Short; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Monday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
