Paul L. Salter

Paul L Salter, 62, of Akron, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015. Paul was born in Salem, Ohio on May 2, 1953 to the late Raymond Sr. and Dorla Ann Salter. Paul was employed by Kobelco Stewart Bolling. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, family, gambling, traveling and woodworking. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his loving spouse, Mollie; brothers, John and Joe; step-brother, Glenn and step-mother, Ruth Salter. He is survived by mother-in-law, Irene Leftwich; daughters, Jeanett (Andrew) Braxton, Kimberly (Mark) Sokol, Penny (Brian Lukinac) Sees; sons, David Sees and Tim (Dorene) Sees; grandchildren, Pepper Sokol, Lucas Sokol, Kylie Sees, Heather (Jason) Diegel, Johnathan Grant, Jazmine Arnold, Darryelle Grant, Journee Braxton, and Kennedy Braxton; brother, Raymond E Salter, Jr.; sisters, Jet Ann (Glenn) Proctor, SuLin (Tim) Boudler, twin sister, Penny Salter, and Joy Davis; step-brothers, Terry (Pat) Gaugler, and David (Tammy) Gaugler; comforting and loving friend, Vicki Salter and a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Family and friends may call on, Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, with additional calling hours on Friday June 12 from 3 to 4pm with funeral service to follow at 4:00pm. Interment will be Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11am in Moultrie Cemetery in Minerva Ohio. In lieu of flowers, take someone fishing.
