Paul R. Fedorovich Sr., known as “Rob” to many, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025 surrounded by his son Paul and his sister Pandy.
Work was the centerpiece of Paul’s life, and he built a legacy as an Operating Engineer, earning the nickname “Bridge Paul” for his skill in operating heavy equipment and building bridges. He took pride in his craft and the lasting impact of his work.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Rosie Frank (Fedorovich) (38); his son, Paul Fedorovich Jr.(37); and his two beloved grandsons, Charles Maximus (3½) and Nikolai Frank (2). He also leaves behind his four sisters, Pandy Fedorovich, Cindy Fedorovich, Terry Kippes, and Lisa Fedorovich.
Beyond his work, Paul loved riding his side-by-side, had a passion for trucks, enjoyed gardening, and found peace in being outdoors. He was also deeply interested in science, politics, and history—conversations with him always left you learning something new. Though a man of few words, when he spoke, people listened.
Paul also loved fishing, telling jokes, and being the funniest person in the room. His humor and storytelling brought joy to everyone around him, and his memory will live on through the laughter he shared and the bridges he built—both in work and in life.
Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, September 19, 2025 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
