Paul "Tony" Anthony Buchanan

Paul Anthony "Tony" Buchanan, age 77, passed away on October 21, 2024. He was born to Willie and Ethel Buchanan on February 24, 1947. He was a graduate of Hower High School class of 1965. Tony became a journeyman plumber and electrician after graduation. He then moved to Monrovia, Liberia where he lived and worked for 25 years. While there, he perfected his skill in building and became a contractor. He was very proud of his work and truly enjoyed working. Tony married Keziah Nyemada and from this union he is survived by one daughter Deborah Buchanan, and stepdaughter Tetee Brisbane. Other survivors include granddaughters Keturah Buchanan and Winnie Buchanan; and sisters Barbara "Mikki" (Roger) Wells, and Cynthia Buchanan; nieces, nephews ,and a host of other relatives and friends, and special friend James Yu. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Ethel Buchanan, his brother Leslie Buchanan, stepson Kla Nyemada, and nephew Leslie Buchanan Jr. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 11-12 with a service to follow at Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home. You can livestream the service at noon on Thursday below.
